My name is Alexander Seawright, and my field is Storyboarding for animation and VFX. Honestly, I could fit in either area, but Storyboarding is what I’d really like to do. I am a self-starter, work well with a wide variety of people, a good mediator, a bit of a workaholic, and I learn new skills fairly quickly.
I’ve loved animation since I was child, I just love brainstorming with other people ideas and seeing them come together.
My inspirations range from Batman: the animated series, to Zootopia, Glen Keane, Kiki’s delivery Service, Aaron Blaise, Chowder, and Nichijou. But narrowing it down to even more specific animated characters that stand as my favorites, I would say stitch from Lilo and stich, for how I relate to the character in the movie, and his struggle to find a place to belong, despite his knowledge that he may not have anywhere or anyone who would accept him for what he was. The 2nd and 3rd characters I enjoy are Beast or Prince Adam from Beauty and the Beast, and Kenai from Brother Bear solely for the animation done on the characters and their myriad of facial expressions.
